Getting to Bordeaux
Bordeaux is a beautiful city in southwestern France, and while there are no direct flights from the U.S., it’s easy to reach with a quick connection.
-
The most convenient way to get to Bordeaux is to fly into a major European hub such as Paris (CDG), Amsterdam (AMS), or Madrid (MAD) and then take a connecting flight to Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport (BOD). Most major airlines offer these one-stop routes from cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and beyond.
-
You can also fly into Paris and take a high-speed TGV train directly from Paris Montparnasse to Bordeaux Saint-Jean station. The train ride is about 2 to 2.5 hours and a great way to see the French countryside.
-
If you’re interested, you can rent a car and drive to the venue from either Paris or Bordeaux. The drive from Bordeaux is especially easy—mostly highways and well-marked roads. If you’ll need an automatic car, be sure to book early, as most rentals in Europe are manual and automatics are in high demand.
